Again,Eze Ndigbo Amuwo Odofin Foundation Gives Palliatives To Widows,Less Privileged.

As part of his effort towards alleviating the hardship being faced in the country, the Eze Ndigbo of Amuwo Odofin,Eze Augustine Sunday Ojukwu through its Foundation Eze Ndigbo Amuwo Odofin Foundation on Thursday 7,October 2024 gave out palliatives in the form of foodstuffs to over 100 household families in Amuwo Odofin.
The event which took place at Trade fair motel lagos had in attendance the Chairman Ohaneze Ndigbo Amuwo Odofin Chapter and other lgbo leaders, including a representative from the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government.
Addressing the audience,Eze Augustine Ojukwu stated that the initiative was part of the foundation mission to support the less privileged, widows and positively impact the society, noting that he was touched by the challenges faced by his people, hence he initiated the move to distribute foodstuff to the people.

Eze Augustine who is the Eze Udo ll of Amuwo Odofin went further to state that the foundation deem it fit to extend help to the widows, the less privileged and the poor in Amuwo Odofin so as alleviate the suffering of the vulnerable individuals and families.
Speaking to Investigator news,Eze Ojukwu who is known for his philanthropic nature noted that his foundation decided to give.out the palliatives as a way giving back to the society and making a significant impact.
“The economic situation of the country is so pathetic and the poor and widows are the ones feeling the heat the more. For this reason we decided to give out this palliative because we know it will go a long way,in our last outing at the New yam festival where we gave out N100,000 scholarship to 10 indigent students,we promised to assist the less privileged and the widows and today we are keeping to our promises.”
” Though this is first of its kind but we are the first person to start Eze Ndigbo Foundation in the whole of Lagos and our aim is to assist the less privileged and widows in Amuwo Odofin “he stated.
He appealed to well meaning Nigerians and lgbo speaking community to always extend their hands of fellowship to the less privileged and widows around them as this is the only way to give back to the society and make great impact.
The Chairman Ohaneze Ndigbo Socio Cultural organization, Amuwo Odofin Chapter, High Chief Lawrence Chikwado Ezeunara thanked the Eze Ndigbo for coming up with such initiative in assisting the less privilege and widows in Amuwo Odofin.
High Chief Ezeunara went further to describe Eze Ojukwu as a God sent to the people of Amuwo Odofin,not only to Ndigbo but to other ethnic groups in the community
” This is a man who do not discriminate, whether you are lgbo or any other ethnic group,Eze Ojukwu would attend to you and go extra mile just to put smiles on your face and we pray that as he has start this foundation just to assist those in need,God will also come to his time of need”he submitted.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to lnvestigator news expressed gratitude and joy as they received the items, praying for the foundation and founder,Eze Ojukwu for its kindness and generosity, believing that the palliatives came at a time when they needed it.
Mr Hilary Abakwam expressed gratitude to God almighty and the privilege to be part of the beneficiaries, praying that God in his infinite mercy would bless the founder in bountiful fold.
Lending her voice, Mrs Comfort Mbakwe who is widow opined that the foodstuff came at the right time, while thanking Eze Ojukwu for remembering her family as God will use others to bless him for giving out to the widows and less privileged.
Investigator news reports that on the 26th of October,2024, during the New yam festival of Eze Augustine Sunday Ojukwu,(Eze Udo ll) dignitaries from all walks of life including the China community,lgbo stakeholders, business associate attended the program.
