With Just 29 days in office,the Rotaract District 9111, Nigeria has bestowed a distinguished award of excellence to the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA),Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo,in recognition of his outstanding contributions to grassroots governance, community development, and visionary leadership.
The ceremony, held at The Beehive Hall in Ikeja, Lagos, was attended by prominent dignitaries, including the Lagos State Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende
Aare Taiwo who was ably represented by Hon. Onadeko Damilola Edward and accompanied by Alhaji Hon. Ramon Olaseni Taiwo jointly received the award plaque on behalf of the Chairman amidst warm applause from guests and stakeholders.
Receiving the award,Hon. Onadeko conveyed the Chairman’s profound gratitude to the organisers and the Lagos State Government for the recognition, noting that such honours serve as strong motivation for sustained dedication to service delivery, infrastructural advancement, and people-oriented governance.
Earlier the organisers, Rotaract District 9111, Nigeria, emphasised that the award was conferred after a thorough evaluation of the Chairman’s track record in transparent administration, socio-economic empowerment programmes, and landmark infrastructural projects that have positively impacted residents of Ejigbo.
Presenting the award to the Council Chairman,the Lagos State Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, commended Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo for his remarkable strides in youth empowerment, social welfare, and inclusive governance within Ejigbo LCDA.

He was declared winner of the July 12 local government election with 34,371 votes, representing over 96% of the total votes cast.
Taiwo has been recognized for his visionary leadership and groundbreaking contributions to grassroots development, including being conferred with a Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) in Public Administration.
