A New Dawn for Ejigbo: APC Chairmanship Candidate,Hon Taoheed Taiwo Unveils 7-Point Agenda,Says He Will Proritise Road Construction, People-Oriented Projects.

Hon Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, the APC Chairmanship Candidate for Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has unveiled a 7-point agenda aimed at transforming the local government area.

Taiwo during the flag off of his campaign on Thursday 26, June 2025,in Ejigbo,outlined his vision for the area through seven cardinal manifestos, focusing on healthcare, education, infrastructure, and economic development, while assuring the people that if elected, he’ll prioritise road construction and people-oriented projects.

“This is not just a declaration of intent but a defining milestone in life and the entire people of Ejigbo.What we present today isn’t just a manifesto but it’s a people first social contract, rooted in seven cardinal commitments, each one designed to touch every individual, every ward, and the entire people of Ejigbo LCDA.”

“Today I present to you all seven cardinal manifestos, to include, “Improved qualitative health care. From new solar-powered primary health care centers, to accessible health insurance for the aged and the vulnerable.With strategic pharmaceutical partnerships, medication will no longer pay for bags or wallets.”

“Education that elevates.Annual free JAMB and GCE forms for Ejigbo students,a proposed Ejigbo Republic library and mini-museum that preserves our history, powers, research and bridges generations with knowledge.”

“Reconstruction and facelift to all our public primary schools. Road construction, rehabilitation and traffic management. No more excuses. Damaged roads will be repaired. New roads will open up access.

“Traffic will be managed, not endured. Street lighting will be expanded for safe and ease of movement. Youth, women, special needs and ageing inclusion.”
“Other areas of focus include, scale up the local economy through grants, intervention and empowerment, cleaner environment and improved sanitation, welfare for senior citizens, Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWDs), etc”he said.

The Candidate hopeful went further to extol the incumbent chairman,Hon Bello,the Apex leaders of the party, including Hon Henry Ajomale,Hon M.I.Taiwo and other leaders of the party, promising to improve on the good works of the current administration.

“And to our party family, the APC-LGA leadership, led by Alaji, Fatai, Kasumu, the people of Ejigbo, ward executives, mobilizers, the loyal foot soldiers, who have worked even when no one was clapping, you’re the unseen pillars. Your belief in this vision makes this day possible. You’re not behind me, you’re in fact beside me.”he submitted.

He noted that he would build upon the legacy already established by the party and the incumbent chairman,Hon Monsurudeen Bello Obe.

“What has been done will be build upon and other projects that needs to completed will be done,what needs elevation will be improved. What was yet to be started, will be boldly initiated, because progress is not politics, its responsibility.”

” I urge everyone of you to come out enmass and vote for APC,Vote for Taiwo Adebayo Taoheed and other APC candidates come July 12 so that Ejigbo LCDA will continue to move forward.”he concluded.

Earlier the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Hon Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello (Obe) had expressed confidence that Taiwo would be a worthy successor who will not disappoint the people of Ejigbo.

“I’m here to make a commitment that this next administration won’t fail and it won’t disappoint.July 12 is a day that we’ll demonstrate our love for Ejigbo and Nigeria as a country.”

“He will work with the manifesto and vision he has presented to us today,be rest assured that in the next four years, the people of Ejigbo will be singing the praises of APC.”

Obe promised all wards that are still expecting construction and rehabilitation of roads that they’ll be done. “More are still coming. Those expecting more roads in Ifoshi and Okeafa they’ll get them. We’ll work together, put heads together and Ejigbo will be better for it.

“I’m assuring you that Ejigbo will be a good place for all of us.”he stated
He urged them to come out enmass and vote for the APC candidate on the election day.

“This is an important assignment,we will not take people for granted. We want to assure the people of Ejigbo LCDA that the APC Candidate,Hon Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo will not disappoint them if elected.

Speaking with newsmen ,the Party Chairman, Alhaji Fatai Abiodun Kashumu urge the people of Ejigbo to come out in large numbers and vote for Hon Taiwo as he is a God sent and would perform more better than the incumbent chairman if elected.

Kashumu opined that TAT would touch every aspect of governance including road infrastructure, health care, youth and women empowerment as the welfare of the people would be his top priority.

The APC Vice Chairmanship Candidate,Hon Abimbola Nicholas Ike assured the people of Ejigbo good administration, stating that with proven antecedents and a solid track record of responsive and purposeful governance, Aare TAT stands poised to deepen his developmental agenda—focusing on infrastructure renewal, educational upliftment, improved healthcare delivery, and economic empowerment for residents.

 

Hon Abimbola went further to note that Hon Taiwo Adebayo Taoheed administration will ensure continuity in programmes and policies of the present government

“We will run an inclusive government and redirect Lagos island local government to the progressive path”, she vowed.

 

 

 

 

Lending his voice,the DG and Convener of APC Unity Global, Barrister Kayode Ademuliyi described Hon Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo as a sound administrator who is grounded as far as grassroot politics is concerned.

He noted that if elected Ejigbo LCDA will receive more infrastructural projects while expressing gratitude to the party chieftains, members and residents for the confidence and trust reposed in Hon Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, noting that he would do greater than Hon Obe.

Also speaking,the Co-founder of Flip to Tech company Ejigbo, Prince Adetunwase Adenle said that the essence why Flip to Tech is supporting Hon Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo is because of his antecedents and love for grassroot development.

Investigator news reports that the event witnessed massive turnout from party members and other supporters, dressed in colourful attires, projecting the pictures of the candidates.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of the APC Chairmanship Candidate and the six Councilorship candidates,also the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) members were inaugurated which include Alhaji Fatai Abiodun Kashumu as Apex Chairman of the LOC,Hon Monsurudeen Bello as Co Chairman,Hon Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo and Chief Bayo Okunola as members of the Apex LOC.

Other members include Eze Ambassador Nicholas Njoku,Rev Dr Prisca Timpaul,Hon Sunshine Vivian Obi,Adetuntu Saheed ,Mrs Aderonke,Baba Ibikunle, Major R.A.Adegbeshin,Hon Idowu Kazeem,Mr Nasiru Ayinde,Hon Saheed Kasumu,Hon Wole Adejumoju,Hon Kolawole Fashola,Hon Falana Idowu,Elder Kehinde among others as members.

The members were administer with the oath of office as Local Organising Committee (LOC) members by Barr. Kayode Ademuliyi

Investigator news gathered that all the candidates of the party in Ejigbo LCDA were also presented with the flag of the party by the LCDA party chairman signaling the 2025 official flag off of the campaign.

Prayers were offered to all the candidates and for the success of the forthcoming July 12 election
