Ejigbo, Lagos — The Chairperson of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mrs. Modupe Aishat Taiwo, on Tuesday, 3rd November 2026, convened a strategic meeting of APC female leaders and stakeholders from Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II at the Council Secretariat. 
The high-level consultation focused on strengthening party unity, boosting grassroots mobilisation and consolidating support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (KOH), Senator Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule, Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello-Obe (Obe), Hon. Ladi Ajomale and all other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting drew prominent women leaders across the constituency, including Chief Mrs. Adetoun Ajomale*, wife of a GAC leader; Engr. Mrs. Funke Johnson, wife of former federal lawmaker, Hon. Ganiyu Abiodun Johnson; Mrs. Fatima Bello-Obe; Mrs. Tobe Ajomale; Mrs. Jumoke Olasoju, Chairperson, Isolo LCDA; Mrs. Ganiu Bello; Alhaja Segilola Kasumu; Alhaja Mudirat Badmus, Iyaloja-General of Ejigbo; and Princess Yinka Agbabiaka,Chief of Staff, Isolo LCDA.
Also in attendance were the Vice Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Hon. Mrs. Abimbola Nicholas-Ike; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Mrs. Yemisi Dorcas Otuyemi; Hon. Adedoyin Adefioye; Hon. Bisi Muritala; Hon. Nafisat Sobajo; Hon. Kehinde Ajala; and Otunba Mrs. Modupe Odumuyiwa, APC Woman Leader, Ejigbo.
Others present were Alhaja Salawa Olusesi, Isolo APC Woman Leader and Iyaloja;Mrs. Tonade; Alhaja Muritala; wife of a former Isolo APC Chairman; wives of councillors from Aigbaka, Ifoshi and Fadu Wards; female councillors, supervisors and ward women leaders from Ejigbo and Isolo LCDAs.
Participants deliberated on the need to deepen party structures at the ward level, promote internal cohesion and ensure effective grassroots coordination, emphasizing the pivotal role of women as mobilizers and pillars of electoral success.
The meeting ended with a collective resolve to work in unity and deliver massive support for President Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 polls.
