Invasion Praise Concert is set to return to Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with this year’s edition themed “The Set Time.”
Convened by gospel music minister, Kay Wonder, Invasion Praise has evolved significantly since its debut in 2019 at Egbeda, where thousands of worshippers gathered for what was then a growing expression of a vision to unite people through praise and worship.
The decision to relocate the concert to Eko Hotel & Suites in 2023 marked another chapter in its development, bringing the event into one of Lagos’ most recognised hospitality and entertainment venues while maintaining its commitment to delivering a quality gospel experience.
What began as a vision to bring thousands of people together in genuine worship has grown into an established annual gospel music gathering, drawing worshippers and lovers of gospel music into an atmosphere of praise, music and spiritual encounter.
This year’s theme, “The Set Time,” draws attention to the idea of a divinely appointed moment — a time to gather, worship, celebrate and anticipate what God can do.
It provides the spiritual focus for an edition that promises an evening of powerful music, worship and celebration, bringing together established voices and emerging expressions within Nigeria’s gospel music scene.
The 2026 line-up features mama Bola Are, min. BBO, Lilian Nneji, Toluwani Sings, Psalmos, Titilayo Euba, Minister Dieko, Shola Sax and Tobi Akuraku, alongside the convener, Kay Wonder and will be anchor by the talented VVIP Mc French and the legendary Uncle Ben.
With different musical styles and expressions represented, the concert is set to offer audiences a rich blend of gospel music, praise and worship, while maintaining the spiritual essence that has defined Invasion Praise over the years.
One of the defining features of Invasion Praise has remained its commitment to accessibility.
Despite being hosted at Eko Hotel & Suites, one of Lagos’ premier venues, entry to the concert remains completely free. The organisers have also made provisions for free buses to convey attendees to the venue from designated locations across Lagos, helping worshippers from different parts of the city access the event.
The transportation initiative reflects the organisers’ desire to make the concert accessible beyond those who live or work around Victoria Island.
For an event that has consistently sought to combine faith with excellence, the choice to maintain free entry and provide complimentary transportation reinforces the idea that the invitation is open to everyone.
Investigator news reports that over the years, Invasion Praise has grown beyond a conventional music event. It has become a platform where worship, gospel music, fellowship and creative excellence meet.
Its reach has also extended beyond the physical venue through digital platforms, allowing music and moments from the concert to connect with audiences beyond Lagos.
At the centre of it all, however, remains the original vision: bringing people together in worship.
As October 18 approaches, anticipation is building for another edition of the concert, with worshippers, gospel music lovers and members of the wider public expected to converge at Eko Hotel & Suites for what promises to be another significant chapter in the Invasion Praise story.
This year’s edition, “The Set Time” invites Lagos to gather once again — not merely for a concert, but for a shared moment of worship, praise and celebration.
The organisers reiterate the fact that Invasion Praise 2026 will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Investigator news gathered that admission is free, with complimentary buses available from designated locations across Lagos.
