…….Assures Auto Dealers of Council Support, Charges Traders on Monthly Sanitation.

Oto Awori LCDA, Lagos— The Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area,Hon Kareem Azeez Abiodun has toured the Elepo Group of Auto Spare Parts Market and the Oto-Awori Abattoir, pledging council support for market development and urgent intervention on street lighting and sanitation.
The visit is in line with the administration’s commitment to upgrade economic hubs and improve the business environment across the LCDA. 
At Elepo Market, the Chairman addressed auto spare parts dealers and stakeholders, assuring them of the council’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of the market. 
He emphasized that the development of markets and other economic centers remains a top priority in the council’s overall development agenda. 
The Chairman and his entourage later proceeded to the Oto-Awori Abattoir,where the leadership raised concerns over the poor state of the access road and inadequate street lighting in and around the facility.
Responding to the concerns, the Chairman assured that the lighting challenge, particularly around the Abattoir, would be given urgent attention.  
He also urged residents and market operators to fully participate in the monthly environmental sanitation exercise as part of efforts to maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for trading and daily activities.
Investigator news reports that the Chairman was accompanied by:Hon. Ajose Ezekiel Tekobo(Secretary to the Local Government),Hon. Saka Yusuf Olatunji(Supervisor for Budget),Hon. Kasali Hassan Adedayo(Supervisor for Environment ),Sanitarian Biobaku-Burtons Modupe(Head of Environment).
Traders and abattoir stakeholders commended the Chairman for the visit, expressing hope that the promised interventions on lighting, roads and sanitation will boost commerce and improve safety in the area.
The council reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with market associations and community stakeholders to deliver people-centered development across Oto-Awori LCDA.
