The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Isolo Local Branch, Lagos, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across the council area as they celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha, urging residents, particularly youths, to uphold the values of love, sacrifice, obedience and selflessness.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, NYCN Isolo Local Branch,Comrade Jennifer Esenwa, the Coordinator of the branch, Damilola Kushimo,described Eid al-Adha as a sacred celebration that symbolises total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, compassion for humanity and commitment to peaceful coexistence.
The council called on youths in Isolo LCDA to emulate the exemplary virtues of Prophet Ibrahim, whose unwavering faith, obedience and spirit of sacrifice remain the foundation of the Islamic celebration.

Kushimo further encouraged young people to continue promoting unity, tolerance and mutual respect irrespective of religious or ethnic backgrounds, stressing that sustainable national growth and community development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
While congratulating Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the spiritual exercise, the NYCN Isolo Local Branch also prayed for enduring peace, progress and prosperity in Isolo LCDA, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
“May this festive season strengthen the bonds of love among our people and inspire us all towards greater acts of kindness, service and patriotism,” the statement added.
