The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Cornelius Ojelabi, has commended party leaders, stakeholders, members of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), and the media for their dedication and professionalism during the APC Presidential Primaries in Lagos State.
Ojelabi gave the commendation while overseeing the official presentation of the collated presidential primary results at the State Collation Centre located at the Lagos State APC Secretariat, Acme Road, Ikeja.
The collated result sheets were formally signed and presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Lagos State Agent, Olusesan Daini, in the presence of party leaders, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and members of the Lagos APC Primary Election LOC.
Addressing stakeholders during the exercise, Ojelabi applauded members of his team for their resilience and unwavering commitment throughout the electoral process.
“I thank my team who have worked tirelessly throughout the process, both day and night, to ensure the success of this exercise. I also appreciate the media for their robust and professional coverage of the election,” he stated.
The Lagos APC Chairman noted that the smooth conduct of the primaries and the transparent collation of results reflected the party’s commitment to internal democracy, accountability, due process, and effective coordination.
He further stressed that the successful exercise has continued to strengthen public confidence in the APC’s democratic processes ahead of future elections.
