The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), has continued to consolidate grassroots support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) following a strategic courtesy visit by the Association of Ti’Ifalase Ewe, Ejigbo LCDA, to the Council Secretariat.

The visit, which drew notable cultural leaders, community stakeholders, and traditional figures from across Ejigbo, further highlighted the growing alliance between the council administration and grassroots groups committed to community development and political stability.

The delegation was led by the President, Adaba of Ejigbo, alongside other respected personalities including Chairman Akogun Wasiu, Koleoso Sikiru (Basegun), Chief Ifashina Obaedu (Committee Chairman), Iyaniyi Durokifa (Vice Chairman), Sodiq Ogunde (Ojubona Ejigbo), Mrs. Jemilat Okanlawon (Iya Ewe), Dr. Chief Oluwo Atanda Afeez (Oluwo Atanda), Chief Asiwaju Awo, and Chief Odufa Abola (Atefini Awo), among others.

Speaking during the engagement, Aare TAT described cultural institutions as critical pillars of peace, unity, and grassroots mobilisation, stressing that sustainable governance can only thrive when traditional stakeholders and government work together for the collective good of the people.

He commended the association for preserving Yoruba cultural heritage and promoting harmony within Ejigbo, while reaffirming his administrationâs commitment to inclusive governance, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and social welfare initiatives across the LCDA.

The council boss also urged residents to remain steadfast in supporting progressive leadership, noting that the achievements recorded under the APC-led government at various levels were products of continuity, strategic governance, and people-focused policies.

In their remarks, members of the association applauded Aare TAT for what they described as visible transformation, accessibility in leadership, and his unwavering dedication to the welfare of residents.

The cultural stakeholders offered prayers for continued peace and prosperity in Ejigbo and openly declared their support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the governorship ambition of Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, and all APC candidates ahead of future elections.

They pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation efforts in support of the party, expressing confidence in the APCâs vision for sustainable growth and national development.

The colourful visit featured goodwill messages, cultural interactions, and renewed commitments towards strengthening collaboration between traditional institutions and the local government administration for the continued progress of Ejigbo LCDA.
