Bello Reaffirms Commitment To Effective Representation, Seeks Ejigbo APC Leaders’ Backing for Reps Bid

Hon. Monsuru Oloyede Bello, popularly known as OBE, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering effective and people-oriented representation as he continues grassroots consultations with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ejigbo LCDA, seeking their support and backing for his aspiration to represent Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives ahead of the forthcoming electoral process.

Hon. Bello alongside members of his campaign organization, paid a strategic consultative visit to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), where he sought the support and backing of party leaders and stakeholders for his aspiration.

The meeting, held at the APC Party Secretariat in Ejigbo, was attended by the LCDA Party Chairman, Hon. Ismaila Omoniyi, executive members, ward chairmen, ward executives, and other notable stakeholders within the party structure.

Speaking during the engagement, Hon. Bello expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded to him and his team, describing the gathering as a reflection of the unity and strength of the APC in Ejigbo LCDA.

He appealed for prayers, cooperation, and unwavering support from party leaders and members as he pursues his ambition to represent Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II at the National Assembly.

The aspirant emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and loyalty within the party, urging members to remain committed to party supremacy and collective decisions aimed at strengthening the APC ahead of future elections.

Obe further highlighted the constitutional responsibilities of a member of the House of Representatives, noting that lawmakers are expected to make laws, represent the interests of constituents, carry out oversight functions, and facilitate developmental projects capable of improving the lives of the people.

According to him, quality representation must focus on attracting meaningful development, promoting accountability, supporting empowerment initiatives, and ensuring that the welfare and aspirations of constituents are adequately represented at the federal level.

He also stressed the importance of active participation in the budget process and policy advocacy that would promote national growth and socio-economic development.

Reaffirming his readiness to serve,the former Council boss pledged to provide responsive and impactful representation if elected into office.

The aspirant also offered prayers for the newly inaugurated APC executive members in Ejigbo LCDA under the leadership of Hon. Ismaila Omoniyi, praying for wisdom, strength, and success in steering the affairs of the party.
