Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has appointed Professor Victor Ifeanyi Obiora Ndirika as the new Provost of Nwafor Orizu College of Education.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Christian Aburime,Professor Ndirika,is a distinguished Agricultural Engineer and accomplished academic and until his appointment was a professor in the Department of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
Investigator news reports that Prof. Ndirika is widely respected for his contributions to teaching, research and administration and has authored several peer-reviewed papers and scholarly publications in reputable journals.
The appointment is seen as part of Governor Soludo’s drive to strengthen the education sector and reposition institutions in the state for greater excellence.
Professor Ndirika is expected to steer the college into a new phase of growth and innovation, with a focus on producing highly skilled, modern teachers for Anambra State and beyond.
