The Executive Chairman of Òdì‑Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, Dr. Seyi Jakande, has extended Good Friday greetings to Christian faithful, urging them to reflect on the values of faith, unity, and compassion.

In a Good Friday message to residents, Jakande described the day as a solemn moment to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the enduring message of love and redemption.

He noted that the significance of the Cross serves as a reminder of the importance of humility, faith, and unity in overcoming life’s challenges, urging Christians to strengthen the bonds that hold the community together.

The council chairman also encouraged residents to embrace peace, forgiveness, and service to one another, particularly during the Easter season.

According to him, the period presents an opportunity for renewed hope, healing, and spiritual reflection among families and the wider community.

Jakande further offered prayers for divine grace and blessings upon households across the LCDA, expressing hope that the season would bring joy, peace, and renewed strength to residents.
