The Councillor representing Aigbaka Ward in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon.Taiwo Idowu,on Wednesday 25,March 2026, conducted a spot assessment of ongoing infrastructural projects across key locations within the ward, as part of its effort to monitor progress and ensure quality delivery, reaffirming the council’s commitment to grassroots development.

During the inspection tour, Hon. Idowu visited the ongoing projects at Morning Star Modern Primary School, Abuna Street, and Ilufunmi Street — all currently being executed under the administration of the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Taiwo Adebayo Tahoeed.

The projects are aimed at improving educational infrastructure, road accessibility, and overall environmental conditions within the community.

During the visit, Hon. Idowu met with engineers and site supervisors handling the various projects and received briefings on the level of work completed as well as timelines for completion.

He emphasized the need for contractors to maintain high standards, adhere strictly to specifications, and ensure timely delivery for the benefit of residents.

Speaking with newsmen,Hon Idowu who is also the deputy leader of 6th legislative council, Ejigbo LCDA expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work,commended the Executive Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Adebayo Tahoeed, for his proactive leadership and dedication to community development and prioritizing infrastructural development across Aigbaka Ward and Ejigbo LCDA at large.

He noted that the ongoing projects demonstrate the administration’s commitment to grassroots development and responsive governance.

Hon. Idowu went further to state that the construction of a modern Morning Star Primary School would provide a more conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers, while the road and drainage improvements along Abuna Street and Ilufunmi Street would ease movement, reduce flooding, and enhance economic activities within the area.

He assured residents that he would continue to carry out regular monitoring and oversight functions to ensure transparency, accountability, and value for public funds,adding that the council remains committed to transparency, and delivering impactful dividends of democracy to the people.

According to him, collaboration between the executive and legislative arms remains key to achieving sustainable development across Ejigbo LCDA.

Residents and community stakeholders who witnessed the inspection expressed appreciation for the ongoing projects, noting that the interventions would significantly improve their daily lives,they also commended both Aare TAT and Hon.Taiwo Idowu for their commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy at the grassroots level.

Investigator news gathered that the inspection further highlights the Ejigbo LCDA administration’s determination to accelerate development and improve infrastructure across all wards, while ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and completed within the stipulated timeframe.
