The Institute of Entrepreneurship and Apprenticeships Management and Administration (IEAMA) has unveiled plans to host the IEAMA Enterprise Leadership Summit Lagos 2026, a high-level gathering focused on advancing entrepreneurship and leadership as vital tools for Nigeria’s economic growth.
The event scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026,will take place at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Conference Centre in Ikeja, Lagos.
The event is expected to draw a diverse audience, including entrepreneurs, policymakers, professionals, apprentices, and institutional leaders from across the country.
In a press statement,the organisers disclosed that the summit will be held under the theme, “Leadership for National Growth: Entrepreneurship as a Catalyst for Economic Transformation,” underscoring the importance of visionary leadership and enterprise development in strengthening the nation’s economy.
According to the Director of Information IEAMA, the event will serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and networking among stakeholders dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development.
A major highlight of the summit will be the investiture and inauguration of the institute’s pioneer council members, marking a significant milestone in strengthening its leadership framework and expanding its mission to promote structured apprenticeship and entrepreneurship management nationwide.
The event will also feature the induction of outstanding entrepreneurs, professionals, and apprentices who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and commitment in their respective fields.
Participants will take part in a Strategic Leadership Dialogue on Entrepreneurship and National Development, where experts and industry leaders will explore policies, opportunities, and strategies for empowering entrepreneurs and building a resilient economic ecosystem.
In addition, the summit will offer networking sessions with industry leaders, policy influencers, and institutional stakeholders, aimed at fostering partnerships, mentorship, and collaborations to enhance Nigeria’s entrepreneurial landscape.
Notable personalities expected at the event include Dr. Jerry E. Ibeh, Registrar and Secretary to the Council of IEAMA; Amb. Dr. (Mrs) Harris-Herima Ballah, Council Secretary of IEAMA; Dr. Bukola Aumot Ajani, Vice President for Apprenticeship; and Dr. Victor Chukwueke Nwochoka, Registrar of IEAMA.
The institute stated that the summit aligns with its broader vision of nurturing leaders, empowering entrepreneurs, and strengthening apprenticeship systems capable of driving national productivity and economic resilience.
