The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr Salami Momodu Ozigi Deedat,on Tuesday 17, February 2026,received the Emani clan, including deposed Obobanyi HRH Samuel Adai Onimisi, who tendered an apology letter and sought reinstatement.
In a statement signed and released by the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Ministry for Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs, Olajumoke Ajani, stated that the members of the Emani clan came enmass to Lokoja with the deposed Obobanyi of Emani, HRH Samuel Adai Onimisi in his move for a peaceful resolution and reinstatement.
