Delta CP Aina Adesola Starts Tour To Boost Police-Community Ties.

Delta State Police Commissioner CP Aina Adesola has started a familiarisation tour of Area Commands to strengthen operations and community relations.
The tour which commenced with a visit to the Asaba Area Command, where the Commissioner of Police was received by the Area Commander, Asaba, ACP Alex Udeze, and met with senior officers, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and personnel under the Area Command.

He charged officers and men to remain professional, disciplined, and proactive in the discharge of their duties, while emphasising intelligence-led policing, respect for human rights, and effective service delivery.

Adesola also visited the Asagba of Asaba’s palace,where he was received by His Royal Majesty, Obi (Prof) Epiphany Chibuogu Azinge,SAN,OON,and members of the traditional council seeking traditional institution support for police work.
The CP appreciated the traditional institution for its continued support to the Police and assured of the Command’s commitment to partnership in promoting peace, safety, and public confidence.

The Commissioner of Police also held interactive sessions with major stakeholders within the jurisdiction, including traditional rulers,community leaders, youth representatives, transport unions, and members of the business community, and called for sustained collaboration in addressing security challenges across the Asaba metropolis
Investigator news reports that the tour is aimed to boost morale and reinforce community policing in Delta State.
The familiarisation tour is expected to continue across other Area Commands in the State, as part of the CP’s broader strategy to assess operational needs, boost morale, and reinforce community-oriented policing in Delta State.
