Lagos,Nigeria -The Fire Grace and Mercy Restoration Ministry, Ijegun Lagos,a prominent Christian congregation,on Sunday 30,November 2025,held its annual thanksgiving service, marking a momentous occasion to express gratitude to God for His faithfulness and blessings throughout the year 2025.

The event, which was attended by Eze Ambassador Dr C.C. Nwokedi, Chairman Council of Ndieze, Lagos State,members of his Cabinet,Ohaneze Ndigbo and Igbo Speaking community, Ijegun and Ijedodo, friends, members of the congregation and special guests,was a vibrant celebration of music, praise, and worship.
It was an exciting moment as the Chairman Council of Ndieze Lagos State,Eze Ambassador Nwokedi had his annual thanksgiving and worship service with members of his family and cabinet members.


Investigator news reports that Eze Nwokedi presented gift items to thank God for His mercies and protection through the years.

Welcoming members of this year’s thanksgiving,the General Overseer Fire Grace and Mercy Restoration Ministry (Arena of Holy Ghost), Pastor Ambassador Dr Tessy Nwokedi encouraged the congregation to continue to trust in God’s goodness and sovereignty, citing numerous testimonies of answered prayers and breakthroughs experienced by members of the church throughout the year.
She also reminded the congregation that thanksgiving is a crucial aspect of the Christian walk, and that it is essential to acknowledge and appreciate God’s hand in our lives.

The guest speaker,Pastor Emmanuel Ugochukwu Ndieze from Owerri,Imo State,who delivered a powerful message on the harvest theme”Thanksgiving of all around divine rest”He encouraged Christians to embrace a renewed spirit of worship and thanksgiving, emphasizing the importance of faith and devotion.
Pastor Emmanuel who spoke on the topic “Consciousness of grateful heart” emphasised that Christians should give, in humility, cheerfully, willingly, in righteousness and honourably.

He described harvest and thanksgiving gathering as a very important moment in the life of Christians to come to God in thanksgiving for their blessings, stating that those who know their God shall be strong and will do exploit.”doing everything according to knowledge of God is the key to every success”he said.
He explained that giving thanks to God opens the door for more blessings as he encouraged everyone to develop a heart of giving both to the church and to humanity because giving is a way of showing love and obedience to God.

During the Thanksgiving service proper,Eze Nwokedi explained that for the past 20 years on every last Sunday of November, he usually goes to Church for thanksgiving, to show gratitude to God, thanking Him for what He has done in his life by lifting him from nowhere.
The celebrant, Eze Nwokedi, beaming with joy as he shared his testimony, praising God for His faithfulness and goodness. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God for the many blessings and privileges he has enjoyed, including his family, friends, and successful endeavors.

He stated that those who do not sow into the lives of people should not expect so much from God, stating that reaping of a harvest depends on your commitment to God and your earthly endeavors to man through selfless services.

Nwokedi urged those in attendance to always remember the goodness of God and to continue to trust in His sovereignty and providence.
Friends and well wishers who turned up e-mass to commemorate Eze Chika Nwokedi’s event of annual thanksgiving expressed gratitude to God almighty for the sustenance of life and protection upon Eze Nwokedi and family.

Speaking with newsmen,the Chairman Igbo-speaking community in Ikotun/Igando, Comrade Chief Okechukwu Uzegbuelam appreciated God in the life of Eze Nwokedi who have taken upon himself to always thank God on the last Sunday of November.
” I feel excited and appreciate HRH Eze Ambassador Dr C.C. Nwokedi for always having a day aside to thank God almighty and we members of the Igbo Speaking community in Ikotun Igando is happy to have him within our domain because his presence has motivated a lot of things as he has also giving a sense of direction of what leadership is all about.”he said.

Chief Okechukwu who is also the youth leader of Igbo Speaking community Lagos State encourage every individual to always develop a heart of giving both to God almighty and the less privilegeed in the society .

Lending his voice, Chief Gabriel Nwankwo described Eze Nwokedi as a “crazy giver”and one who loves the things of God .

Speaking with newsmen after the thanksgiving,Eze Nwokedi who is the Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun and Ijedodo community stated that the essence of the annual thanksgiving which he has been doing for the past 20 years was to thank God almighty for the gift of life given to him and members of his family.
“I always thank God when I was not even the Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun and Ijedodo and I have been doing this for the past 20 years and for over 3 years now I have been celebrating it together with members of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Igbo Speaking community and Igbo-Buru-Otu.”he stated

Eze Nwokedi, a prominent figure,expressed his gratitude to God for His mercies and protection, citing these as the driving forces behind his thanksgiving celebration, while recounting the many ways in which God has seen him through challenging times and brought him to a place of victory and triumph.
He stated that the desire to always thank God specially every year started in Cross Mountain of Solution Church,Roman Catholic church, Christian Pentecostal Mission,Rhema Church and presently Fire Grace and Mercy Restoration Ministry.

Speaking on the title attached to his name Eze Ambassador Dr (Prophet) Chika .C. Nwokedi,he noted that his birth was significant as he was born a year and four months and members of his family called him ” Chikadibia,God is greater than the greatest native doctor” and they saw that he was a special child with a special spiritual gifts.
The philanthropist opined that he would be celebrating the widows and less privileged on December 13 as he intends to bless them with food items and various gifts so that they can celebrate xmas with their families.

He encouraged everyone to cultivate a heart of thanksgiving, even in challenging times, and to always trust in God’s sovereignty and plan for their lives.
The momentous occasion was filled with gratitude and praise as the congregation reflected on God’s unwavering faithfulness and grace as the thanksgiving service was a lively and uplifting experience, with music and prayers for the nation.

The event was attended by many notable personalities, including community leaders, business associates, and close friends, all of whom came to show their support and congratulate Nwokedi on his blessings.
