Hon. Seyi Jakande, Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, has announced the successful desilting of the Alli Lane and Abidogun Street channels, part of his HEWA Agenda to enhance community welfare and environmental sustainability.
This project is aimed to improve drainage and prevent flooding during heavy rains, reflecting Jakande’s commitment to creating safer environments for residents.
Jakande remarked, “The desilting is crucial for public safety and infrastructure, enhancing our drainage system to mitigate flooding risks.” The work involved clearing debris from the waterways, improving their capacity and aesthetics.
