Mazi Chuks Nwosu Elected President General Of ASTUA Lagos Branch

In a closely contested and highly anticipated election,the Special Adviser to the Member Representing Oshodi-Isolo 2 at Federal House of Representatives,Mazi Chuks Nwosu has been declared the President General-elect of the Abia State Town Union’s Association (ASTUA) Lagos branch.

The election was held on Saturday 25, October 2025,in Lagos.
The election, which was closely monitored by the Abia State government and other stakeholders, was declared free, fair, and transparent by the electoral committee led by Nze Frank Idika.


Investigator news reports that Mazi Chuks Nwosu’s victory marks a significant milestone in his leadership journey, as he garnered substantial support from delegates to emerge victorious unopposed.
His mandate is expected to focus on empowering the Abia diaspora community in Lagos, promoting unity, and fostering development in the state.

As the new President General of ASTUA Lagos branch, Mazi Chuks Nwosu will lead the union for a fixed tenure of 3 years, working closely with other stakeholders to promote the interests of Abia people in Lagos.

Investigator news gathered that the ASTUA Lagos branch is a socio-cultural organization that brings together people from Abia State living in Lagos, and Mazi Chuks Nwosu’s leadership is expected to take the organization to greater heights.

The Out going President of the association,Prince Ejituru Ikenga congratulates Mazi Chuks Nwosu and other executives on their victory and wish them a successful tenure.

He also urge all members of ASTUA Lagos branch to rally behind their new leader and work together to achieve their goals.
