The Council of Obas in Ikeja Local Government has commended Chairman Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD) for his remarkable progress within 100 days in office.
The royal fathers gave the commendation when they paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman at his office, congratulating him on his victory and praising his leadership style.
The monarchs, led by HRM Oba Akeem Shaibu Agbaosi, HRM Oba Olusegun Adeyemi Ajasa, and HRM Oba Dr. Olukunmi Olusesan Akingbole,praised AKOD’s leadership style, attributing his success to his mentorship under Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke,describing him as a “trailblazer in governance whose leadership qualities AKOD has clearly emulated.”
They expressed satisfaction with the Chairman’s performance, noting that the level of progress achieved within 100 days was unprecedented in Ikeja’s history.
In response, Chairman AKOD thanked the royal fathers for their support and prayers, reaffirming his commitment to good governance, transparency, and inclusive leadership.
