Hon. Seyi Jakande’s administration has extended the “Back-to-School, Back-to-Pocket” initiative to October 20, ensuring every public primary school pupil in the council area receives essential school materials.

This effort aims to promote inclusive education and support students’ academic success.

The final distribution phase aimed to reach pupils who missed the initial handout.

Investigator news reports that the team visited Viney Primary School, Anglican Primary School, St. Paul Primary School, Alakara Primary School, Odi-Olowo Primary School, and Local Government Primary School, delivering new school bags and writing materials.

“This isn’t just about distribution; it’s about fulfilling a promise,” a representative stated, ensuring that no child is left behind in the pursuit of quality education.

The program is part of the H.E.W.A. Agenda, focusing on education and welfare for every family in Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA.
