The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD),has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as he gracefully clocks 61 years today.
In a release signed bythe Executive Chairman and released by his Media handlers ,AKOD extolled Dr. Hamzat as a technocrat of distinction, a visionary political leader, and a dedicated public servant whose life and career have been devoted to the service of Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
He noted that Dr. Hamzat’s intellectual depth, humility, and commitment to governance have made him a rare gem in the political landscape.
Recalling their cordial relationship which dates back to 2006/2007,the Council boss described the Deputy Governor as a mentor and role model whose wealth of experience in governance continues to guide and inspire him.
“Today, we celebrate a man of excellence and a leader par excellence. Your wisdom, dedication, and quiet strength in leadership continue to serve as a compass for many of us in public service.
“On behalf of the government and people of Ikeja, I wish you a happy 61st birthday. May the Almighty God grant you many more years in sound health, renewed strength, and greater achievements in the service of our dear state and humanity,” Chairman AKOD said.
He added that Lagosians are blessed to have Dr. Hamzat as a steady hand in governance, working closely with Mr. Governor to deliver the THEMES+ Agenda and to sustain Lagos on the path of progress and prosperity.
