Nollywood Actor Saheed Balogun Praises Ikeja LG Chairman, Comrade Dauda’sVisionary Leadership.

Renowned Nollywood actor and filmmaker Saheed Balogun has commended the Executive Chairman of Ikeja local government, Comrade Akeem Dauda (AKOD)for his people-oriented initiatives and commitment to youth development in Ikeja, highlighting the creative industry’s potential to positively engage youth and contribute to socio-economic growth.
He stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to Ikeja Local Government Chairman Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD) at his Ikeja House office.
Balogun praised AKOD’s focus on empowering young people, noting the importance of collaboration between the government and creative sector,noting that the creative industry holds immense potential to engage the youth positively and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic growth of the community.
The Council boss in his remarks, expressed delight at the visit, describing Saheed Balogun as a cultural icon and a worthy ambassador of the Nigerian movie industry.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young people, promote talent, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Lagos State.
Investigator news reports that the visit concluded with an exchange of ideas on possible partnerships between the Ikeja Local Government and the creative sector, with a shared goal of fostering youth empowerment, community development, and cultural preservation.
