Back to School: Somolu LG Chairman Emeritus ‘Dullar’ Supports Pupils With Educational Package

The Chairman Emeritus of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu, popularly known as “Dullar,” has once again demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of the community by distributing a Back to School package to pupils in all 18 primary schools in Somolu.

The package includes school bags, notebooks, water bottles, and other writing and drawing tools, aiming to equip pupils for the new academic session.

The package was distributed to all 18 primary schools in Somolu, benefiting pupils and reinforcing Hon. Salawu’s commitment to education and community welfare as the children expressed their joy, chanting “Dullar! Dullar! Dullar!” in appreciation of the gesture.

Investigator news reports that 18 primary schools in Somolu, include Agunbiade Primary School, Ola-Olu Primary School, Baptist Primary School, Ijebutedo Primary School, Wright Memorial Primary School, Wesley Primary School, Odunlade Primary School, SS Peter & Paul Primary School.

Others are Oke Meta Primary School, Adebule Primary School, Modupe Primary School, St. Augustine Primary School, St. Paul Primary School, St. Peter Primary School, Bashua Military Primary School, Jehovah Shalom Primary School, Igbobi Primary School, and the National Orthopaedic Special School, Igbobi.

The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Lateef Ashimi who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Prince Adesina ‘Obama’ Adeeso applauded Hon. Salawu for this continuous act of generosity towards pupils.

He praised the initiative as a legacy of service that strengthens the educational foundation of Somolu, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to supporting education and the younger generation.

Addressing the children,Hon. Salawu assured the children and parents that he would not stop sharing goodies with the people of Somolu, just as he had consistently done before, during, and after his tenure as Executive Chairman.

Investigator news gathered that the event was attended by religious, political, and community leaders.
