Ladi Ajomale Hosts 10th Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting, Reaffirms Commitment To Renewed Hope Agenda.

Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, Hon.Ladi Oladipupo Ajomale has highlighted the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 10th Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting held on September 4, 2025 at the Toly Palace Event Centre, NNPC, Ejigbo.
The event, themed “Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” brought together political wards of Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs, stakeholders including religious leaders, youth groups, women,trade associations and security agencies to discuss progress and challenges in the constituency.

Addressing constituents, Hon.Ajomale expressed gratitude for their turnout and emphasized the importance of participatory governance.

He stressed the importance of accountability, transparency, and participatory governance, assuring constituents that the Lagos State House of Assembly remains committed to their well-being.
He said, “I thank you all for coming,today, the Lagos State House of Assembly is holding its 10th constituency stakeholders’ gathering, simultaneously across all 40 constituencies of our state. The theme of this engagement is Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“I warmly welcome you all as distinguished stakeholders to this forum, which provides us the opportunity to account for our stewardship, strengthen our relationship with the people, and collectively address pressing issues affecting our community. Today, we are reaffirming our commitment to accountability, transparency, and participatory governance.

“As you all know, this programme allows us to present the progress we have made while also receiving your input on critical areas of concern, including food security, infrastructure, and welfare. I want to assure you that the Lagos State House of Assembly remains firmly committed to your wellbeing and to ensuring that the benefits of governance are felt in every corner of our communities.”
Ajomale went further to promised to deepen empowerment programmes for constituents, citing his dedication to service and confidence in securing an even greater mandate come 2027.

Highlighting the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda at both state and federal levels, Ajomale noted significant progress in economic reforms, infrastructural transformation, security, agriculture, and education, emphasizing the positive impact on the community.
“From the outset of this administration, we have witnessed bold reforms—fiscal policies that have stabilized the economy, infrastructural projects that have improved the quality of life, and digital transformation initiatives that place Lagos at the forefront of innovation. In agriculture, significant investments have been made to modernize farming practices and boost food production.
“The Student Loan Initiative is a landmark policy that has opened doors of opportunity for our youth, ensuring that financial constraints no longer prevent qualified students from accessing higher education. Healthcare has equally received legislative support, with renewed focus on access to quality services and improved facilities across our communities.”

Speaking further, the lawmaker acknowledged the strides in national security and social welfare.
“Our national security architecture has been strengthened, and advanced equipment is being deployed to safeguard lives and property. Social programmes, particularly those championed by the First Lady, have brought relief to women, children, and other vulnerable groups across the country. These initiatives underscore the truth that the future is here, and hope is here.”
He urged stakeholders to continue their support, stressing that collective efforts were crucial in sustaining progress.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan—it is a daily practice and a call to action. Together, we are building a legacy of inclusivity, progress, and sustainability for future generations. Let us embrace this era of new hope and work hand in hand for the continued development of our constituency and our state”he stated

Reeling out some of his remarkable achievements which include; A call for retraining LASTMA Officers, translation of all laws of Lagos State to yoruba, announcement on the train in Yoruba,took a pivotal step in advancing local road infrastructure such as the ongoing road reconstruction at Ailegun road, Ejigbo.
Distribution of JAMB examination slot to residents of Oshodi-Isolo 2, providing 25kg bag of rice and cash gifts to widows and giving financial assistance to over 200 people, provided boreholes to four different wards(Akinbaye and illasamaja ward in Isolo,Aigbaka and Fadu ward in Ejigbo),Hon Ajomale promised to continually touch lives in his little capacity as he gave financial aid to 100 residents in Ejigbo and Isolo LCDA.

Earlier,the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Aare Tahoeed Adebayo Taiwo hail the initiative of the Lagos State House of Assembly for the noble idea of the stakeholder’s meeting which has created an enduring platform where government actions can be examined and progress can be measured.
Aare Taiwo applauded the lawmaker,Hon Ladi Ajomale for providing quality representation at the State House of Assembly, noting that under his leadership, Ejigbo and Isolo LCDA will witness greater transformation.
Speaking further, in the words of the Council Boss,”the gathering is more than just a tradition, it is a demonstration of accountability, transparency, and participatory governance. It is a reminder that true leadership is about service and that leaders must always return to the people to give an account”.
“The stakeholders meeting is a platform for constituents to engage with their representatives, discuss pressing issues, and share insights on various governance initiatives.It also serves as an opportunity to highlight the achievements of the current administration and gather valuable feedback from the public.”he submitted
He stressed the importance of active civic participation and urge the residents to register and collect their permanent voters card (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 election and ensure they re elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second tenure so as to continually enjoy the renewed hope agenda of the present administration.

Lending his voice,in his remarks, Olasoju commended Hon. Ajomale for raising the bar of legislative representation since assuming office, through qualitative engagement and impactful developmental initiatives.
“This annual Stakeholders’ Meeting is a laudable initiative of the Lagos State House of Assembly. Over the years, it has strengthened the bond between our representatives and their constituents. The visionary leadership of Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa deserves commendation, especially as this forum has now reached its 10th year. The meeting serves as a veritable feedback mechanism for lawmakers, and it is indeed commendable.
“I must applaud Hon. Oladipo Ajomale for upholding the ideals of legislation by remaining responsive to the needs of his people. He continues to complement our strides at the grassroots by amplifying our concerns in the hallowed chamber while facilitating and initiating developmental projects,” Olasoju stated while speaking to journalists on the sidelines.

Speaking on the theme of the epoch-making event, “Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Olasoju aligned with the lawmaker in urging constituents to sustain their faith in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting the tangible progress already being recorded.
“We have just heard our lawmaker remind us of the strides of Mr. President under the Renewed Hope Agenda. That alone should encourage us to remain resolute in our belief in the administration. The gains of these reforms are evident, and they can only get better. At the grassroots, we will continue to complement both federal and state efforts to make life more meaningful for our residents,” Olasoju added.

Speaking with newsmen after the event Ajomale, noted: “This is an annual programme, but this year’s meeting particularly focused on the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our APC leaders. We appreciate the commitment and support of our constituents in driving the growth and progress of Isolo and Ejigbo.”
The lawmaker who is the House Committee Chairman on Judiciary, Human Right,Public Petition and LASIEC also reassured constituents of his dedication to service, promising to deepen empowerment programmes in the next two years to come
“The essence of program is to ensure that every residents in the constituency is carried along in the activities of both the state and legislation arm of government and take back their reports to the state government for onward action ”
“As a legislator,I have been able to facilitate, rehabilitation of roads, facilitate other projects even to the environment as we recently got an approval to come and clear the canals and other things.
” Without the support of the constituents,there is no way I would be able to boast of what I am doing, besides all these,I have been able to ensure that a lot of bills have been passed including the civil litigation bill, housing bill, health and also provide a bill that would establish a school of medicine for our people so as to curb the rate of doctors running to other countries for greener pastures. We have a done a lot and my people should expect more from us”

On why he decided to empower the constituents with business financial aid,he said”we understand that the economy seems to be quiet challenging and Nigerians are just regaining their balance,so for this reason we decided to assist the elderly, women,youths, artisans, widows and those who desperately needs it by giving them a little business grants so as to assist them in their business and homes.”he submitted.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of financial empowerment programme through which no fewer than 100 constituents received support to boost their livelihoods

Present at the event was the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Aare Tahoeed Adebayo Taiwo,his Counterpart in Isolo LCDA,Hon Olasoju Adebayo, former Ejigbo LCDA Chairman, Hon. Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello;APC LGA Chairmen,as well as APC leaders, religious leaders, security agencies,civil society, women,youths and other stakeholders from Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs.
