Hon. Seyi Jakande, the Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye and across Lagos State on the auspicious occasion of Eid Maulud.
The day commemorates the birth of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and serves as a time for reflection, gratitude, and reaffirmation of faith.
In a heartfelt message released by his Media handlers, Jakande charged Muslim ummah in the community to unite as one, sharing with the needy.
âEid Maulud is not only a celebration of the Prophetâs life and teachings but also an opportunity for us to come together in unity and compassion,â
âIt is a time to strengthen the bonds of community, extend kindness to one another, and engage in acts of charity and goodwill.âhe said
The Chairman went further to emphasized the importance of embodying the principles of love, peace, and harmony that the Prophet exemplified throughout his life.
He urged community members to reach out to those in need during this blessed occasion, saying, âAs we celebrate, I encourage everyone to share the joy of this time with those around us.â
Jakande concluded his message with a heartfelt wish for abundance and joy, stating, âMay this Eid Maulud bring you and your families abundant blessings, joy, and prosperity.
