As Nigeria gears up for the 2027 general elections,the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Aare Tahoeed Adebayo Taiwo have intensified efforts to galvanise grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid,citing his visionary leadership, developmental strides, and the far-reaching impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Addressing the Mandate Group, a political caucus under the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Ejigbo LCDA under the leadership of Chief Bayo Okunola held at the residence of the Executive Chairman on Sunday 17, August 2025, Taiwo applauded the courage,patriotism,and leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu noting that his vision is transforming Nigeria, and I believe he needs another term to complete what he has started.
“Nigerians are very proud of what the president is doing,” . Nigeria has never had it this good,so many infrastructural projects, health, business empowerment, education,security and many more with the tremendous impact made.”he said.
Aare Taiwo went further to state that President Tinubu has what it takes to reposition Nigeria for greatness,as the country is regaining global respect under his administration
“The future of Nigeria is built on continuity and progress. As we move towards the 2027 Presidential election, our commitment remains strong: to support the Renewed Hope Agenda and ensure sustained growth, stability, and development for our nation. Join us in consolidating the achievements of the current administration and pushing Nigeria towards greater heights,” he submitted.
Speaking ahead of the forthcoming Nationwide Continuous Voters Registration,the Council boss urge the people to inform their neighbors,relations and friends of the importance of taking the opportunity to register, including those who are seeking transfers within and outside the state, those who wish to make corrections of name and those who have misplaced their PVCs.
He urged Nigerians to take the Continuous Voter Registration and Permanent Voter Card collection seriously, describing the PVC as the most powerful tool for more visionary leadership
The Council chairman stressed that his administration is not only going to focus on infrastructural development but also looking at the welfare cum well being of the people
He however,assured the party members of the Mandate group that his administration will continue to work assiduously for the greatness of Ejigbo, while appealing to those who are bent in destroying the legacy already put in place by their leader,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to refrain their steps and come together for the betterment of Ejigbo LCDA.
The leader of the group, Chief Bayo Okunola praised President Tinubu, saying, “With the way President Tinubu is handling the economy and security, we believe he deserves more time to fix Nigeria completely.
He emphasised that the president has touched every aspect of life across the nation. We’ll mobilise every ward for Tinubu,young people are feeling the impact. From digital skills to jobs, Tinubu is speaking our language.”he stated .
Chief Bayo appreciated the council chairman for his indelible leadership role in making Ejigbo LCDA great likewise.
