As the tenure of Local Government Chairmen in Lagos State (2017–2025) officially comes to an end, and a new administration prepares to take office on Sunday 27, July 2025 with the inauguration of new Chairmen,the outgoing Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Alhaji Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello (OBE)has expressed a heartfelt appreciation to the people of Ejigbo community as his tenure ends.
Hon Bello noted that for over two terms, his administration has achieved significant milestones in youth empowerment, infrastructure, inclusive governance, and safety.
He thanked the people of Ejigbo for their trust and support, highlighting the progress made together.
“It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to serve as your Chairman for two terms.”
“Over the past eight years, our administration has recorded significant milestones in youth empowerment, infrastructural development, inclusive governance, and people-centered policies.”
“We have also prioritized the safety and security of both indigenous and non-indigenous residents within Ejigbo LCDA”.
“I remain deeply grateful for the trust, support, and cooperation you have shown me throughout my time in office.”
“Together, we have achieved more than I ever imagined possible. The progress we have made is a testament to our shared commitment and collective effort.”
OBE as he fondly called went further to state that he has confidently passes the mantle to incoming Chairman Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, urging continued support for the new administration.
“As I now pass the mantle of leadership to the newly elected Chairman, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, I do so with full confidence in the continued growth and prosperity of our beloved community.
“I urge you all to extend the same unwavering support to the incoming administration.”
