Honourable (Rotarian) Funso Jide Adekunle Ogun, State Youth Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the revered monarch of the Ijebu Kingdom.
In his condolence message signed and released by his Special Assistant on Media,Comrade Ikpeama Emmanuel,Honourable Fushi described the late monarch as a beacon of wisdom, dignity, and exemplary leadership, whose reign was marked by peace, progress, and cultural pride for the Ijebu people.
He noted that the monarch’s legacy will forever be remembered in Yoruba history and in the hearts of those who knew him.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the family of His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, and to the entire Ijebu Kingdom on the passing of a truly remarkable monarch.”
“Kabiyesi was not only a revered traditional ruler but also a beacon of wisdom, dignity, and exemplary leadership.”

Adekunle who was the House of Assembly Candidate for Ijebu Ode State Constituency in the 2023 general election went further to condole with the royal family, the Council of Chiefs, and the people of Ijebuland, praying for the Almighty’s strength and comfort during this difficult time.
