Eid-Al-Adha:A Reflection Of Patience, Perseverance,And Faith In Allah Says Hon Salawu

The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government,Hon Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ has described the Eid-Al-Adha celebration as a reflection of patience, perseverance and faith which stands as a powerful symbol of submission, patience, and unshakable faith in Allah.
In his goodwill message to the people of Somolu on this year’s celebration,Hon Dullar commended the community for their steadfast faith and resilience, stating that the holy festival is more than just a ritual as it is a reminder of the journey they’ve taken together with resilience and hope.
The Executive Chairman went further to emphasize the importance of the lessons from Eid-Al-Adha, which renew strength, deepen faith, and unite the community
Hon. Salawu highlighted the visible growth and progress in Somolu, attributing it to the community’s patience and sacrifices.

He commended the people of Somolu for their steadfast faith in Allah and in our leadership, saying that despite the challenges, they never stopped believing in the promise that Somolu would rise and that belief has manifested in visible growth and progress through ongoing developmental projects and people oriented programs.
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (Qur’an 94:6). This divine promise has reflected clearly in Somolu’s journey. The sacrifices and patience of our people have been met with blessings and transformation.”he stated
Hon. Salawu appreciated the visionary leadership of Governor Sanwo-Olu and President Tinubu, whose policies and commitment to grassroots development have transformed Somolu.
He prayed that Allah would continue to bless the community and reward their faith and sacrifices.
“Somolu has become a beacon of transformation, and this would not have been possible without visionary leadership.”
