Ejigbo Council Boss,Hon Bello Celebrates May Day In Commemoration With Workers Day.

The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Alhaji Monsurudeen Bello has congratulated all the workers in Ejigbo LCDA and Lagos State in general as they marked Workers’ Day on May 1, 2025.
In his goodwill message, Bello wished workers a fruitful celebration, praying for prosperity, productivity, multiplication, and peace in all endeavors, stating that the priority of workers welfare would continually be his watchword.
He noted that under his leadership,he has prioritized workers’ welfare, implementing measures to ensure employees’ well-being and improve their work-life balance which includes creating a positive work environment and offering programs that address mental and physical health concerns.
“May Day is a significant event where workers, unions, and labor activists come together to celebrate their achievements and push for improvements in labor rights and welfare
Since the inception as Executive Chairman in office,I have prioritized workers welfare which involves implemented measures that ensure employees’ well-being and improve their work-life balance, created a positive work environment, and offered programs that address mental and physical health concerns.”
“I have this conviction that by prioritizing welfare, employers can improve employee productivity, reduce turnover, and foster a more positive and engaged workforce.”he said.
While expressing his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of workers in the LCDA,the Council boss went further to say that he has never relaxed on his laurel and didnt limit his support to the formal sectors alone – through his accelerated infrastructural developments in the LCDA, a conducive environment which he said is secured for the informal sectors (Artisans, Traders, and business persons alike).
“May this day, 1st of May, 2025 be a harbinger of fortunes, productivity, multiplication and peace in all endeavours of our lives – from the Fed, State to the grassroots”.he submitted.
