The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT),has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Mark Joseph Carney on his historic election as the 24th Prime Minister of Canada.
The society which is a pace-setting global Islamic organization with over 360 locations worldwide and five vibrant branches in Canada lauded the Liberal Party’s remarkable victory in the recent parliamentary elections, describing it as a momentous milestone for Canadian democracy.
NASFAT’s President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, applauded Mr. Carney’s emergence, acknowledging the significance of this triumph during a pivotal time in Canada’s history.
He highlighted that Carney’s vast expertise and leadership in global finance make him uniquely positioned to steer the nation toward unity, growth, and resilience.
“As a respected economist and former Governor of both the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, Carney brings a depth of experience that commands global respect.”
President AbdulRauf went further to expressed confidence that Carney’s track record will enable him to navigate complex national and international challenges with wisdom and foresight.
In his congratulatory message, NASFAT’s Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, praised the democratic process and offered prayers for Prime Minister Carney’s success, wisdom, and strength.
He emphasized the value of visionary leadership in shaping a more inclusive and compassionate world.
