Tragedy struck during a joyous occasion as a man allegedly collapsed and died while celebrating his wife’s 60th birthday thanksgiving on Saturday 19, April 2025.
The heartbreaking moment was captured in a video that has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter).
Investigator news reports that in the clip, the man is seen joyfully holding a microphone and singing praises, while his wife dances cheerfully beside him.
The couple can be seen celebrating the special occasion surrounded by family, friends and members of the church congregation.
The praise was filled with joy and praise as the woman marked her milestone with a thanksgiving.
At a point in the video he grabs the hand of his wife and whispers something into her ear.
He gestured to his mouth with his right hand as to suggest that he asked for a glass of water.
As the wife dances away, he shows visible signs of discomfort for a split second ad put the microphone down on the podium before slumping backwards.
The men behind him caught him before he could hit the ground.
Sadly, he reportedly passed away shortly after the incident.
It will be reported that the video has attracted lots of comments as many have identified the deceased as the CEO of Ologbo Nla hotel, Chief Kunle Akinyele.
