The Executive Chairman of Somolu local government,Hon Hameed Salawu Dullar has joined Christians around the globe in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Hon Salawu stated that Easter is a season of renewal, sacrifice, and divine love values that deeply resonate with the heartbeat of our beloved Somolu, stating that as Christians we need to reflect on the victory of life over death.
“Easter is also a call to deeper service and sacrifice. In the spirit of Christ’s love, we encourage all residents to show compassion, build bridges, and uplift the vulnerable among us. Together, we are stronger.”
“We applaud our Christian community for being pillars of peace, charity, and unity. Your faith-driven actions continue to foster harmony and social growth, reinforcing the strength and diversity that define Somolu. The churches, ministries, and missions are recognized and appreciated for their immense spiritual and social contributions.
The Mayor opined that the state and federal governments are increasingly drawn to Somolu for the deliberate strides in infrastructural development and urban industrialization.
He said,”This Easter, we celebrate not only spiritual rebirth but also the physical transformation of our local government, driven by visionary leadership and the collective effort of our industrious people.”
