The Mayor of Isolo, Olasoju Adebayo has described the death of the pioneer vice chairman of the council area, Mr. Taiwo Hassan Rahman (T.H.) aged 65 as a big blow to the council area and the entire Awori Nation given the meritorious career the departed soft-spoken politician boasted while alive.
In a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rasheed lskilu,Hon Olasoju commiserated with the family of the onetime Finance Manager of Nigeria Re-Insurance Corporation, his kinsmen and the political class of the council area.
“Waking up to hear the passing of T.H. filled me with a great sense of loss. He was a political leader and grassroots mobilizer of repute from whom we drew inspiration while growing up”.he said

The council boss recalled how the Lagos State College of Science & Technology (LACOSTECH), Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) and now Lagos State University of Science & Technology (LASUSTECH) alumni served meritoriously during his term as the pioneer vice chairman of Isolo LCDA under Mrs. Modupe Oseghale.
A position Mr. Rahmon offered his indelible best occupying apart from serving on the committee of Osolo Day Celebrations for successive years.
“The prints left on the sands of time by T.H. while serving as vice chairman of our council area and the way he brought his financial expertise to bear on the activities Osolo Day Celebrations Committee years-after-year shall remain cherished.”
