Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly on Friday,20 September,2024 has applauded the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government,Hon Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ over the remarkable developmental strides put in place by his administration.
The legislative team led by Hon. Babatunde Okanlawon (Kosofe 1), Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government Administration, Chieftaincy Affairs & Rural Development, praised the Executive Chairman and were impressed by the soon-to-be-commissioned New Somolu Local Government Administrative Complex, describing it as an “iconic edifice” which symbolizes effective leadership and progress in governance.
The legislators went further to commend the successful completion of several key projects, including the Somolu Legislative Complex, Somolu Fire Service Station, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Primary Healthcare Center, and the soon-to-be-commissioned Bashua Police Station.
Hon. Okanlawon opined that Somolu Local Government stands as a model for other councils to follow, praising the administration’s dedication to community development.
Investigator news reports that those who accompanying Hon. Salawu at the forum were Hon. Adekunle Ekiyemi-Odujobi (Vice Chairman), Hon. Yomi Osunkoya and the Somolu Legislative Council members, as well as Hon. Ayodele Afolabi (SLG).
The Council Manager, Mr. Abiodun Babinton, led other senior management officials to the meeting, while the visiting legislators include Hon. Kehinde Joseph, Hon. Abiodun Orekoya, Hon. Jubril AbdulKareem, Hon. Samuel Apata, Hon. Stephen Ogundipe, and Hon. Ajayi Oladele.
