The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has joined the Muslim Ummah all over the country and the world at large to celebrate 2024/1446AH Maloud Nabiyy, which signifies the day prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born.
Otunba Oloyede in a congratulatory message congratulated the Muslims for witnessing this year’s maulud Nabil celebration, while urging them to emulate the modest characters exhibited by the prophet.
The Council Boss who commended the Muslim community for being tolerant of other religions, called for sustained peaceful coexistence and adherence to the teachings and practices of the Prophet Muhammad.
Investigator news reports that the Muslims across the globe usually celebrate the Mauolud Nabiy every 12th day of Rabiu AL-Awal, to resonate the teachings and practices of the prophet.
He went further to pray that God spare them to witness more of such special days and enjoined them to continue to pray for the progress of the local government, the state and the country in general. He reiterated his commitment to the progress and development of the local government, while urging all to join him in the task of rebuilding the Oshodi-Isolo local government of our dream.
He said; “I celebrate with our Muslim brothers and sisters on today’s maulud nabiy, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, May peace be upon him. I must commend you for the peaceful coexistence in our beloved local government and I want you to continue to live in harmony.”
“Let me use this occasion to also reiterate my administration’s commitment to continue the progressive works ongoing across the local government on infrastructure and to assure you that we shall not fail in our resolve to change the narrative of our local government positively in building the Oshodi of our dreams.”
