The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has commenced the renovation of Mafoluku Nursery and Primary School on Makinde Street, Mafoluku Ward of the local government.
The school which has long suffered neglect , was abandoned and not used for educational purpose after its roof was blown off by thunderstorm years back.
The school is now set to wear a new look and when completed, would aid learning and guarantee conducive learning environment for the pupils.
The renovation of the school, Oloyede said is part of his administration’s determination to ensure pupils learn in a friendly environment, while assuring that his administration will not relent in making sure schools within the council area receive adequate attention as education remains a top priority of his administration.
This is just as the construction of St. Paul Nursery and Primary School within the same complex is advancing daily with workers working day and night.
Oloyede said the Mafoluku Primary School renovation will be delivered with furniture and modern writing materials before the resumption of activities next month.
