LG Polls: Imo PDP Ready For Victory – Hon Samdaddy

The Imo State governorship candidate for 2023 gubernatorial election and National Secretary Peoples Democratic Party, Distinguished Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu ( Samdaddy), has revealed that PDP is fully prepared to win local government election come 21st September.
He expressed happiness for seeing all the members working in peace and unity thanked party leadership for holding fourth of the party.
Anyanwu stated this to journalists during their enlarged stakeholders meeting of the party held at the state office secretariat Owerri, on Thursday.
He described PDP as grassrooted party urged the aspirants vying for Chairmanship and Councellorship position to work hard in order to achieve success, says his happy to see the party return back to the people.

The PDP National Secretary urged the leaders not to hesitate to receive back those who left the party, saying that the party is not Sam Daddy’s party but it belongs to everyone.
He disclosed that PDP national remains strong and charged the leaders to include women into the party structure for better results, even as he thanked the party executives for being resolute.
Sen. Anyanwu said, ” our party is grass rooted and our members are grounded in their various communities, we are not coming to participate in the election rather to win the election.
Those who fight and run away lives to fight again, PDP will continue to fight until we take over Imo State, local government election is a ward election and the people know themselves, those who think they can hijack the election should be better think again”. He stated.
Also speaking, Hon. Ugochukwu Ajoku, aspirant for Mbaitoli Chairmanship election expressed delight for the outcome of the stakeholders meeting described it as wonderful.
He noted that he is running because Mbaitoli people asked him to represent them at the local government council, says if elected will make a difference in times of providing the needed development.
Ugochukwu urged Mbaitoli people to support his aspiration while promising not to disappoint them, even as he commended the PDP national secretary Samuel Anyanwu for his leadership qualities.
Earlier in his address, the PDP Caretaker Committee Chairman Chief Sir. Chidi Dike, thanked their national secretary and governor in waiting, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, and his Deputy Rt. Hon. Jones Onyeriri and other party Leaders for being present at the meeting.
He said, recently President Bola Tinubu assented to the Bill on the South East Development Commission, adding the bill which was presented by Senator Samuel Anyanwu during his time as the Senator representing Imo East.
According to him, the passage of this singular bill will be the journey towards the eventual and sporadic infrastructure development of the entire south east, says that shows Senator has all the best intention not only for Imo but the entire Igbo race revealing no wonder he was conferred the chieftaincy title ( Obi Ndigbo).
Dike thanked the leadership of PDP in Owerri, Orlu, and Okigwe Zones as well as the LGA’s for taking pains to ensure that party affairs go smoothly in their respective zones.
The Chairman noted that the caretaker committee has sufficiently sensitized all those involved in the congress, and they have written and visited the chairman of ISIEC on the need to extend the date for primaries of aspirants which yielded good results.
Dike reiterated that PDP is fully prepared for the election and they are confidence, but requested for a level playing ground from ISIEC.
He further charged the stakeholders to keep supporting and working hard for the party, saying because they have not reached their target which is Douglas House and urged them not to be distracted one minute.
