Following the recent tragic incident of a two storey school building which collapsed on Friday involving over 200 students and staff of St. Academy School,Busa Buji,Jos North local government area of Plateau state,President Bola Tinubu has received the news of the tragic collapse of the school building,with profound grief.
President Tinubu, in a statement signed by his media aide, Chief Ajuri Ngelale described the unfortunate incident as a huge loss to the nation, as well as a devastating development – too excruciating to imagine.
Tinubu who condoled with the bereaved families, families of all the victims, and the people and Government of Plateau State, commended the emergency responders comprising the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), security agencies, and all citizens involved in the search, rescue, and resuscitation efforts.
He assured the people of Plateau State of his fervent support at this difficult time. more
It will be recalled that on Friday over 200 students and staff of St. Academy School at Busa Buji, Jos North local government area of Plateau State lost their lives when a two-storey building in the school collapsed at the time students were writing their promotional examinations.
