The first mentions of a birthday came from Ancient Egypt, where large celebrations were put on for the Pharaoh. These celebrations were coronation dates, symbolic of the Pharaoh’s birth as a ‘god. The first of these is said to have taken place somewhere around the year 3,000 B.C.E.
Here in Imo State, Nigeria, we are celebrating one of our great sons, a super lawmaker, an ingenious parliamentarian and a phenomenal legislator who has demonstrated his capacity, and has practically shown he is indeed the stabilizer in the Legislative Arm of Government of Imo State.
For me, Rt Honourable Sir Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House Of Assembly and Member Representing Nwangele State Constituency has earned my pen of praises on this very special occasion to celebrate his birthday. If he has not done exceedingly well for the Imo State House Of Assembly, Imo State Government, Nwangele State Constituency and generally, for the good people of Imo State, my pen would have been on the reverse gear on this occasion.
Nevertheless, this is not the time to reel out the achievements of this selfless lawmaker who has demonstrated enough competence and has shown enormous knowledge and understanding of the legislative process.
Before he became a lawmaker, Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu was a very successful Real Estate Mogul, and was running a very successful business conglomerate, with interest in Manufacturing, Publishing, Hospitality Industry, Bakery and General Merchandise, etc. He also assisted humanity by empowering young men and women, and provision of job opportunities to the less privileged in his business consortium.
However, his love for humanity, and the need to uplift and encourage the youths motivated him to join politics. It should be noted that Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu didn’t just join politics, he came in fully prepared to offer service to the State.
As a lawmaker, he has connected his State Constituency, Nwangele, to all Arms of Government. This he has done by ensuring potentials and abilities of sons and daughters of Nwangele are not wasted, but recognized, which have resulted in the employment and political appointments for them. He also attracted numerous people oriented projects to his State Constituency, vis-a-vis :
A Good roads
B. Drilling of boreholes in all the Political Wards in Nwangele.
C. Mounting of street lights.
D Payment of Hospital Bills for Indigent Persons.
E. Provision of Accomodations for widows.
F. Payment Of WAEC, NECO And JAMB Forms For Students.
G. Providing Farm Seedlings To Farmers.
H. Building Markets.
I. And so on and so forth.
Aside these, Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, as a Prolific Lawmaker, has sponsored many good People-oriented Motions and Bills on the floor of the House.

Even If you don’t like him, but he notices you have a special gift or quality that would further promote the State and enhance the quality of life of the people, Rt Honourable Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu will be at your door step to see you. Only very few people have this characteristics.
I did promise that I would not go into his achievements, especially as a lawmaker, because the time is not yet ripe for it. However, while thanking Almighty God for giving us Rt Honourable Sir Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, I must point out that he is still a work in progress, and has not yet reached the pinnacle of his career, as a lawmaker. Therefore, my prayer is that the good Lord shall continue to guide, guard, protect, promote and uplift Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, for him to continue to offer selfless service to people.
The Deputy Speaker is my Friend, he is my Brother, he is my Geeee and of course, he is my Boss. And so, it is very natural that I step out to celebrate him.
