At the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, dozens of protesters have descended.
Atiku Abubakar (PDP) and Peter Obi (Labour Party) brought suits against Tinubu (APC) before the tribunal, and it is currently rendering its decision.
the site was heavily guarded as political heavyweights arrived.
But judging by the fact that they were seen carrying placards with diverse inscriptions, protesters appeared to have bucked the tight security before the tribunal.
An inscription on one of the banners, held by a woman wearing a hijab, said, “Asiwaju on your mandate we stand.”
In a same vein, eccentric entertainer Charly Boy has urged Peter Obi’s followers to seize Abuja while the tribunal issues its ruling on the 2023 presidential election. – #LeadStories #Politics
