Omoyele Sowore, who is running for president in 2023 on the ticket of the African Action Congress, has referred to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a man who is confused.
This information was made public by Sowore in a tweet on Friday, June 2, 2023. He did so in response to a directive given by the President on Thursday to service chiefs and heads of security and intelligence agencies to deal with those responsible for oil theft.
According to PUNCH, on Thursday, during his first official meeting with service chiefs and heads of intelligence, led by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the President gave the order for service chiefs and heads of security and intelligence agencies to “crush” perpetrators of oil theft, saying that his administration would not tolerate the problem. Gen. Irabor was the head of the intelligence agency that was leading the meeting.
Tinubu also stated that under his watch, Nigeria would not be brought to its knees by insecurity while other countries record achievements in important sectors of their economies. He said this would not happen while he was in office.
In response, Sowore referred to the president as a “very confused” individual, despite the fact that he appears to believe that the directive would be pointless.

According to the AAC chieftain, the service chiefs and heads of security and intelligence agencies are also “professionally and massively” involved in the problem of oil theft.
He wrote that the @officialABAT account should get its act together. Extremely befuddled! He is pleading with those who “professionally” and massively steal oil to crush those who are involved in “oil theft!”
In his subsequent remarks, the activist was extremely harsh in his criticism of the administration that had been led by former President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
According to him, the administration that Buhari and Osinbajo ran together was a complete and utter disaster.
He wrote: “Failure par excellence! The conclusion of a mistake! After his trip to Abuja, @ProfOsinbajo came back to Nigeria having accomplished not a single thing to improve the country since his arrival. Together, @ProfOsinbajo and @MBuhari were responsible for Nigeria’s demise. “Bose Lo, Lose Bo!” was a common expression used by the principal of my secondary school. (BL,LB) “He came back empty handed just as he left empty handed.”
