Comrade Uzo Nwosu has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, as well as master’s degrees in information technology and business administration.

He has 24 years of experience working for two multinational oil companies, Texaco Overseas Petroleum Company Unlimited and Chevron Nigeria Limited, in Nigeria, the United States, Angola, and Congo Brazzaville, respectively.

From 1987 to 1988, Comrade Uzo Nwosu was Vice President of the Nnewi Undergraduate Congress.

From 1988 to 1989, he was the president of the Anambra State National Union.

From 2010 to 2013, he served as Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior State Association.

Since 2015, he has served on the board of Chevron Microfinance Bank.
