Four people were killed in a car accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Monday.
Around 3:22 p.m., a road accident occurred at the Old Toll Gate in Ogun State’s Ogere axis.
Five people were said to have been injured in the incident, which involved nine people: six male adults, two female adults, and one male child.
“Four persons were recorded dead from the crash, all male adults,” Florence Okpe, the spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun State, said on Monday.
Okpe stated that a Toyota Sienna with the licence plate KJA738ET collided with a Howo trailer with the licence plate KMC548YD.

“The suspected cause of the crash was excessive speed, which resulted in loss of control on the part of the sienna bus driver, who collided with the truck when the truck driver attempted to reverse.”
“The injured victims were taken to Victory Hospital, Ogere for medical attention, while the corpses were deposited at FOS, Ipara morgue,” Okpe said.
