The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship election grand rally will take place next week, and President Muhammadu Buhari has suggested he might attend.
When he met with party leaders and governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Wednesday, Buhari disclosed the information.
The candidate received the APC flag in a formal presentation by the President.
The Nigerian leader reaffirmed the party’s commitment to advancing Osun’s development.
Oyetola was praised for serving the people during his first term in office, and he added that he is sure the APC would do the same.
Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Abdullahi Ganduje, who are co-chairs of the governorship campaign council, as well as Governor Abubakar Bello, who is the vice chairman, were praised by Buhari.
The President wished the recipients luck.
He responded, “I hope I will make myself available to boost your morale,” in response to the invitation to take part in the rally’s Grand Finale.
In presenting Oyetola, APC Deputy National Chairman Abba Kyari thanked the President for steering the party to victory.
Senator Omisore, the national secretary of the APC, and Ahmed Aliyu, the Sokoto gubernatorial candidate, were present.
