The founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has urged Christians in Nigeria to unify.

On Friday in Jos, Oyedepo spoke at the funeral of Rev. Isaac Oyebamiji, the General Overseer of the Chapel of Mercy.

According to the religious leader, the progress of society is dependent on religious unity and love.

According to Oyedepo, the country’s difficulties can be overcome if Christians start speaking with one voice.

“It is past time for Christians in Nigeria to speak with one voice,” he said, according to NAN.

“Nigeria is going through a lot because we won’t unite; we won’t learn to live together.”

“The unity of Christians is critical for the country’s progress and prosperity.”

Oyedepo praised the dead as a godly guy who lived a fulfilling life.

The founder of Winners’ Chapel advised the family members to preserve Oyebamiji’s legacy.
