Nigerians have slammed Rev Father Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, for claiming that former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi will not win the 2023 presidential election.
The cleric said this during a prayer service on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at his prayer hall, according to reports.
While speaking to his members, Mbaka stated that Obi will not be elected president of Nigeria in 2023 because he lacks the spirit of generosity.
“It is preferable to have a gifted old man as president than a young man with ‘gum’ hands,” the cleric said.
He also stated that Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President, has demonstrated his readiness to run for office by refusing to run alongside Obi in 2023.
Obi will only win the upcoming presidential election, according to Mbaka, if he chooses to kneel on the Adoration altar.
“Peter Obi has a mouthful, and unless he kneels on the Adoration altar, he has nowhere to go,” the cleric continued.
Nigerians slammed the reverend father, calling him a charlatan for accusing Peter Obi of being stingy with his donations to the church because he could not donate without a project.
They went on to tell the priest that he should concentrate on God’s work and not worry about politics.
