Adamu Garba, a former presidential candidate, has slammed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for leaving Eagle Square, the site of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential primaries.
According to reports, Osinbajo left Eagle Square early Wednesday morning, just after the party delegates’ votes were sorted.
It is unclear whether the Vice President left in anticipation of his loss in the primary election or simply to refresh himself before the primary election results were announced.

In response, Adamu Garba chastised Osinbajo for his poor performance in the APC Presidential primaries, claiming that he left the Eagle Square in shame and disgrace.
Garba, in a series of tweets on Wednesday, asked Osinbajo to resign and return the vice presidency slot that was ‘loaned’ to him by former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu in 2015.
The YPP member also accused the vice president of betraying Tinubu, who appointed him as a Commissioner during Tinubu’s tenure in Lagos in 1999.

Osinbajo, according to the former presidential candidate, chose his religion over the interests of his region and people.
“If you want to know what Osibanjo and some of his core supporters are thinking, just listen to the aspirant who stepped down for him,” he wrote.
“It’s just religion and nothing else.” It’s a lot clearer now! In addition, all of his successes were provided by the Muslims he despises.
“Vice President Osibanjo chose his religion over the interests of his region and people.” That is the true definition of Jihadism if you know some Arabic.

He walked out of the venue in shame and disgrace. If I were VP Osibanjo, I would simply resign and recommend that the office be transferred to BAT so that he can continue the mandate he granted me in 2015.
Loyalty is important in politics. This is a powerful lesson for those who believe betrayal is inevitable in politics.”
