Chief Victor Umeh, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, has defected to Labour.
Six days after losing the APGA ticket to Dozie Nwankwo, a member of the House of Representatives who currently represents the Anoacha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency, he has defected.

Umeh, who served as APGA’s National Chairman for eight years, lost the APGA ticket for the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone to Nwankwo by a razor-thin margin.
For the 2023 general election, Umeh is running on the Labour Party’s ticket for the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.
